A work of incredible plastic beauty, with haunting songs, rousing dances and hyper-colorful videos! Here, South African choreographer Robyn Orlin stays true to the mix of forms, expressions and genres that has marked her work for 35 years, exploring the torments and violence facing her country.

Born in Johannesburg, Robyn Orlin trained at the London School of Contemporary Dance (1975-1980) and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1990-1995). A figure of political and artistic engagement in her country, she made her name in Europe with Daddy, I have seen this piece..., created in 1998. Since then, her eclectic work, open to all dance styles and aesthetics, has been regularly presented in France, where she has collaborated with a number of artists, including Nadia Beugré in 2022 for the recreation of her solo In a corner.... - Mandatory informationProduction City Theater & Dance Group et Damien Valette Prod
