Maldonne, Leïla Ka's first group piece, is worn by five female performers and forty dresses as an exploration of the feminine. A piece inhabited by a tense rage that reflects their struggles, their sorrows, their exaltations, their desires for freedom to the rhythm of breaths and music. A creation as intense visually as it is emotionally!

Leïla Ka
Leïla Ka came through the urban dance door without any academic training, performing in Maguy Marin's May Be, before winning first prize in the Danse élargie competition at the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris in 2022 with her creation Bouffées, a working stage of Maldonne. Her trilogy Pode ser (2018) / C'est toi qu'on adore (2020) / Se faire la belle (2022) received multiple awards in France and abroad, making her one of the most sought-after young choreographers on the international scene.
