A program that embodies the new face of dance on the other side of the Atlantic, and reveals the highly stimulating creativity of a country confronted with all the tensions of our time. Carried along by the sharp interpretation of the dancers from the Ballet de l'Opéra Grand Avignon, each of the pieces shows a powerful desire for freedom, which dance, in its diversity of styles and inspirations, magnificently embodies.

Ballet de l'Opéra Grand Avignon
Comprising 12 dancers and 2 apprentices, the Ballet de l'Opéra Grand Avignon has been under the direction of Martin Harriague since September 2024. The choreographer, who took over from Emilio Calcagno, champions a physical, committed style of dance that addresses the aesthetic, social and environmental issues facing the contemporary world. The Ballet is developing its influence locally, through its Pôle d'Intervention Chorégraphique, and beyond the city through its many tours in France and abroad.
