Émilie Lalande’s choreographic universe is at once highly visual, poetic and musical, making her creations accessible to young people and all audiences. Is contemporary dance hard to get into? Not for Anton Lachky, who aims to make it accessible to all. Alongside Éléonore Valère, he has written a captivating story in movement to raise awareness among the very young of the dangers of totalitarian societies. The result is a veritable “choreographic SF thriller” for five dancers, reminding spectators of all ages just how much the world needs stories.

Cie S’POART
Choreography: Mickaël Le Mer
Performer: Vanessa Petit
Ages 11 and up
Inspired by the scene from Ravel’s Bolero in Claude Lelouch’s film Les Uns et les Autres, this solo takes as its starting point the gesture of the circle, whether physical, social or spiritual. How does the circle shape each of us? In what ways does it resonate throughout our lives? This original creation is the fruit of a co-construction between choreographer Mickaël Le Mer and the Festival de Danse Cannes – Côte d’Azur France. It is part of an approach to raising awareness of contemporary dance among young audiences, offering an accessible and captivating gateway to this artistic universe.
The show is also a world preview of an extract from Mickaël Le Mer’s next creation, Enso, which will be presented in its entirety at the Festival de Danse Cannes – Côte d’Azur France.
Free performance for schools only.
(The show will also be performed on October 2 at Campus Georges Méliès, and on October 3 and 4, 2025 at the Mouans-Sartoux Book Festival).
