Meeting with Laura Cappelle, sociologist and critic
From Martha Graham to Bintou Dembélé, Isadora Duncan and Carolyn Carlson, many women choreographers have marked their time and the history of dance. With the participation of Janet Eilber, artistic director of the Martha Graham Dance Company and Brigitte Lefèvre, Artistic director of the Festival. This meeting will be followed by a dedication of the book by Laura Cappelle “Nouvelle Histoire de la danse en Occident” (Seuil) in collaboration with the bookshop “Autour d’un Livre” in Cannes.
